like fresh air and sunshine

are heard to beat."

The 85 mile Towpath Trail runs North to South through the heart of the Ohio & Erie Canalway.

Jeff has cycled the whole path, and beyond, riding from Columbus to Cleveland in 2014. There are 20 miles of Towpath Trail running through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This is where we do most of our Towpath riding.

We usually park at the Peninsula Trailhead and ride South, stopping at Szalay's Market during the summer and fall months. From there we ride to Beaver Marsh, and a little further South to Botzum.  We usually turn around here because there is a sewage treatment plant alongside the trail past Botzum.   From Botzum we ride North to either The Boston Store, or all the way to Rockside Road.

We love spending the day on our bikes, riding the trail through our beautiful National Park.
