The Dune Climb
"To see a world
in a grain of sand
and heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm
of your hand and eternity in an hour."
William Blake

The Dune Climb is approximately 450 feet high. From the top, you can hike the dunes all the way to Lake Michigan. The official website says to allow three to four hours for this hike. There's a reason it takes so long, it's hard to hike in sand! Every time we got to the top of one dune, there was another one up ahead. On and on it went until we reached Lake Michigan, which was anti-climatic. The real view is the one Glen Lake from the top of the Dune Climb. The Caribbean blues and greens of Glen Lake will leave you as speechless as the climb leaves you breathless.
