Yellow Springs, Ohio
I am drawn
to windswept trees
and the elements
that shape them.
This place was such a cool find on our way home from a bike ride and dinner in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
The sun was setting as we drove. We turned around, parked, and walked through the fields of sunflowers. What an incredible find.
We suggest planning your visit for late September or early October. We stopped in Mid-October and many of the flower petals were wilting. It was still beautiful, though.
Here is the mission of the Land Trust:
The Tecumseh Land Trust of Greene and Clark Counties is a private, not-for-profit conservation organization. Its purpose is to preserve agricultural land, open space, and historic structures in voluntary cooperation with landowners and their heirs, and to educate the public about methods of private land conservation.
