Biking The Amelia Island Trail

Maritime forests, saltwater marshes, and winding, tree-lined trails all are part of the 5.7 mile Amelia Island Trail. This section of trail, which is part of the East Coast Greenway, runs from Peters Point Beach to Amelia Island State Park. When we reach the state park, we continue over the bridge and boardwalk for another few miles. Some of the photos below are from the Jacksonville section of the trail that continues past the park. The trail is paved, and shared with walkers.

Big Talbot Island State Park

We always ride the George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier State Park. The beach above is at the end of the pier and is a great place for finding sea glass. The bridge is visible in the photo below.
