"Nature always wears

the colors of the spirit."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Allegheny Reservoir spans the border between Pennsylvania and New York. In Pennsylvania, the reservoir  is completely surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest.

We love paddling the serene waters, taking in the scenic surroundings, and stopping along the riverbank every few miles.

Kiasutha Recreational Area and Red Bridge campgrounds both offer beautiful waterfront sites. It's one of our go-to places for weekend getaways.

There are several swimming beaches and picnic areas along the reservoir if you want to enjoy the water from land.

Art imitating life imitating art.
