Letchworth State Park is nicknamed The Grand Canyon of the East. It's also been voted one of the most beautiful parks

in the world.  These photos might be voted the worst photos of the most beautiful park.

We visited Letchworth at the end of several days of hiking in three other New York State Parks.

We didn't have a lot of time but were told by a friend that we couldn't miss seeing it.

We only took a few photos, and they certainly don't do the park justice.  It was an overcast day and we were overtired from our travels. There are much better photos online.

There are 28 trails in the park.  We only had time to walk along the gorge, have lunch on the porch of  Glen Iris Inn, and stop for a few photos ops on a drive through the park.

We didn't see much, but what did see was GORGEous.
