Little Sable Lighthouse
287 N Lighthouse Dr, Mears, MI 49436
“A lighthouse is not interested
in who gets its light!
It just gives it without thinking!
Giving light is its nature!” ― Mehmet Murat ildan

Little Sable Lighthouse was one of three lighthouses we visited on this trip to Michigan.
It's located near Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and for $5, you can climb the tower.
The views alone is more than worth the price of admission.
The lighthouse is staffed by volunteer lighthouse keepers who spend a week (or more)
volunteering. Definitely something we'd love to do!

We walked the shoreline from a nearby beach which made this feel like even more of an adventure.
Would you look at those clear, blue Lake Michigan Waters?
