“Don't ever let anyone
put out your light
because they are blinded by it.” ― Shannon L. Alder
As we were riding our bikes down the twisty sandy road that leads to Big Sable Point Lighthouse,
I smiled at the sight of my big, goofy, always-up-for-an-adventure husband pedaling in front of me.

He’s tall. He’s strong. He shines.
And once upon a time, a handful of years ago, he guided me home from the sea.
Jeff is my lighthouse.

Corny? Yes. True? Definitely. Phallic? Probably.
Big Sable Point Lighthouse is located within the beautiful Ludington State Park. It's a bit of a challenge to bike the sandy road to the lighthouse, but so, so worth it. Within the park, there is biking, paddling, tubing, camping, swimming, and picnicking.
