A Little Cabin in the woods was the perfect place for this year's after-Christmas getaway.

The owners are friendly and met us out...

We went from the fireplace inside to the fire ring outside.  It was the perfect weekend.

Mosquito Lake lived up to its name! We left with a lot of bug bites, but with a lot of great memories, too!

We loved the primitive site area of the campground and the feeling of being out in the wilderness.

Waterfront campsites and views of the Allegheny mountains make this one of our favorite places to camp.

One of our favorite memories is sitting on the bench on the boardwalk in the middle of the night, gazing up at more stars than either of us have ever seen in our lives.  It was so clear we could see the Milky Way.

Rustic rooms in the heart of the park, right off the Appalachian Trail.

This is one of our favorite parks for biking and beach-combing. Camping under the stars just makes us love it even more.
